Wholeness to everyone!

I wanted to get comments and thoughts from others in regards to meditiation experiences.  I know everyones experiences are different, but I am curious as to what you feel, encounter and/or experience, how was your growth....

Since I have been meditating, there is definitely a growing awareness on the inside.  Almost like an inner awareness or consciousness.  So this morning I was meditating and was finishing up with affirmations and I was being feed info about who am and that I will soon realize this.  While it is good to remind yourself of who you are and who you would like to be....I still can't help but wonder is this my higher self or guide helping me out or am i telling myself what I want to hear or be reminded of?  Any help?

The next thing I am noticing is I start feeling as though I am in a deep space almost and pressure all around me, but it feels good though.  Like a drifting or expanding...is this common?  I get more clearness or clarity when this happens too.

Well if anyone would like to share their experiences when meditating it would be help....any experiences i.e. breathing techniques, imagery, scents, candles, lighting, sounds, sitting/standing/laying down, do you see lights or visions, hear voices, ANYTHING :-)!  WBV!

You could say aloud, in the begining of meditation (after you relax):

I deeply desire to expand, to learn, to know who am i, what is my purpose (here you cand put your own desires) and i also deeply desire, the help, the cooperation, the asssistance, of those individuals, of wich the experience, the knowledge, is equal, or greater than my own.

This from Gateway Experience and it helpes me very much. I always feel something is happening as soon as i finish saying.

I follow what the Samurai had said about meditation which is it is a cleansing of the mind body and soul. Everytime I come out of a meditation I feel renew with an altered view on reality ( a positive one). I guess its what everyone else has been saying in this discussion which is it provides clarity on things. However, I was wondering what meditation everyone does because I'am testing out theta meditation to assist with a more profound understanding of others but I've tried healing and average ones. I ask because I want to see my options and which ones I could experience with to aid my everyday life. With the average ones I found doing a mantra too straining on my mind because I couldn't say it over long periods of time without wanting to think about something else so complete silence was better for me. The healing meditation was interesting because I could feel vibes in my body through the ambiance music lifting my spirit and providing happiness which is what the cells need from the mind in order be content. Anyhow I hope this was helpful!

well i take the mediation you described to be fine if you feel it is okay with you. i like to take the good and bad and try to objectively look at so as not to stay attached. For example if i feel lonely, i can accept that feeling and let is pass through me. This is because thoughts are very fleeting, so you may let it come and go like oxygen and carbon dioxide such as when you are breathing naturally. so likewise if you are feeling elated or you receive knowledge and wisdom that you see as fortunate, it is good you can accept it, but if it is the 'be all and end all' is a different story.

on another level, you can use what you see in mediation or in general life to be indicators of something, so if you have a certain fear you can look it, and see what you can actively do about it, change behavioral habits etc

or if you receive some wisdom, you can look at it, and see if there's something you can do with that knowledge to help people or whatever feels right to you.

wish you well

I have to add....minutes after posting this..it came me that my intentions for this particular meditation was to learn more of who I am...this is usually always my intention (mind you i just started).  So I trust what was coming to me was a way to help me re-member who I am. Please comment...I could use the input..
