Wholeness, today I have discovered a new player in the game called Glencore. Glencore is a business in the Congo that violates nature by creating acid rain in their water streams. A BBC reporter (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17726865) looked first hand at what the water looked like for himself and found it to be very acidic on the ph strip. Now when he return back to the business associates of Glencore they agreed it was a horrible thing and they would not wash their hands in that water but that they were making process to limit such issues.

Since today no problems have been solved since the filming of this video. Also there are accusation of the company supporting child labour which I found not find of no surprise in such a impoverished country. A year ago there was another discerning video called "Gasland"

where Josh Fox was disgusting in the  way big corporation were treated the land he had bought off his grandparent. Not only that but the contaminant would fall into the water supply and the grass plains where the farm animals ate. These individuals would get terrible sick and have to buy high priced water supply to endured themselves. They approach business associates but they would not drink the water and have little to comment about the process. The process basically consist of spewing 1000s of chemicals into the earth to retrieve the material they want and leave a mess. Now these are some of the important needs of life and we must support it in any way before it reaches your country. I understand now that its reaching my homeland Canada and much of the Boreal forest is protected by law but there is no law placed against such extraction. Thus it quick possibly by uprooting the source of growth they can possibly destroy the ecosystem in the process. Foxconn too is another problem for pollution and labor laws because the chemicals to create an ipod/apad/iphone/mac are perfectly normal to us because we're use to such chemicals but not them. This is most likely the reason why they're massive suicide protests and suicides alone because their lifeforce has been drawn from them having to work 8-16 hours a day for 250$ a month. In addition, our old products are often dumped on their land as a way of saving cost and it makes them terribly sick since they haven't had initial exposure.

What about the product itself? Here an infographic that shows just how unsafe that product is to our environment; and we all know how popular apple products are...

How Green Is The iPad?

And lets not forget BP, who is somehow now a sponsor of the Olympic, from 2 years ago. The massive oil spill causes death to much of the ecosystem in and around the gulf. There is a major concern to many of the animal species being killed off in the world. While 2025 it is predicted we will lose one fourth of his species due to the major pollution we re causing to the world. The oil caused volunteers to become terribly sick being any where near the spill. Today there still remains tremendous damage to the coast and its harden like asphalt. What is money compared to life I say? We have put so much emphasis on it individuals have been chasing a carrot on a stick even if it leads them off a cliff. Food for thought
