I have had within the last year 3 experiences where I was submerged in a deep dream and then all of a sudden elevated to a state that is conscious of my physical body sleeping but still suspended in a dream world that can be controlled.

In all these experiences shortly after I realize what's taking place I become overwhelmed with a rush of excitement and adrenaline that throws me out of that state into either an awaken state or paralysis.

In the first experience I had risen my etheric head out of physical body and seen my bedroom as clear as i see it now, but once again the adrenaline crashed the party.

What can i do to control this? All comments are Welcome

I can only speak from my own experiences that have been the very same. If I have come out of my sleep cycle in that excited state. I immediately have told myself, this is awesome you can do this and returned to a relaxed state without stimulating the body or mind, within minutes I returned to the astral, I believe this to be intention and will. I attributed it to a lost of frequency. When I have went into paralysis, I have a harder time leaving the body and sometimes I just wake up. I don't have an answer or solution to that yet, however I had one 3 nights ago where I was chained to my reclining chair and was very aware. I use a jump method, when I did I broke the chains went through the wall and was immediately sucked backwards into the chair, these are very energetic movements that can be felt, my eye was wide open and I felt the rush of power and I thought I was waking up so I tried to use the method above. Unfortunately it was time to return to 3d and my body was awaken by routine. When I woke from sleep I realized that when I broke the chains and returned to the chair I was in a 5d room. I was there but somehow didn't recognize it. I can only attribute it to training, it's the Wild West out there anything goes. I didn't do a presence check. A lot of this has to do with what we do during our physical life as well. I have to be vigilante at self observation. I could go on and on, but I want to keep my comments short.

Perhaps the adrenaline crashing the party is a part of the newness and once the experience becomes a more natural feeling then you will become more adept at maneuvering the "vehicle". Remember how exciting it was when you first began to drive an automobile? Eventually you became more skilled & aware. Happy travels my friend!

What works for me is a few things. 1. Use the adrenaline aka Emotions (which is needed to stay on the astral) to fly away from your body. The more you take notice to your body the more you will be snapped back to it. 2. Next trick learned when I was very young. Look for your hands and hold them up to your face. Palms facing you. This works very well. 4.Focus on details. Whatever you see home in on the detail of it. Example you see a photo on the wall..look at the outline and colors plus boarder. You see grass look for one blade of grass and examine it. Etc. I did that once and my Astral body shrunk down to the size of the grass. Seeing insects up close and personal was a lil much though. Lol
Oh and on the Paralysis, I've had that all my life and use to fight from fright. Just like my spontaneous uncontrolled astral projections. As a child I would struggle to get back in my body. Lol. Anyway as I became older and started studying what was happening to me.. I learned to relax into the Paralysis and think of a place I wanted to go. Almost instantly I would sink into the seen or float into it. Has fun with this in my mid 20s to early 30s. Now Im so busy with life I look to sleep and bearly recall my dreams let along my travels. Good luck. Fun stuff!

Thank you all for your useful INput.....You all provided great INsight.

same experiences here.  my only advice for you is to keep practicing until it no longer is so exciting that you wake up.  this has happened to me alot, so i know exactly how you feel.  once you can keep a level mood, you can stay in that state of mind longer.  My problem now is knowing what to do once i get there!  I have no idea what to do when i do get lucky and enter this state of mind.  so i just try to maintain as long as i can.
